Once upon a time, there was a prince. He lived in a tall and beautiful castle, ruling over all the lands.
Usually a king and queen ruled the lands, but unfortunately, the prince's father and mother were dead.
So the prince ruled. But a problem arose.
A prince could not rule a kingdom, only a king could. The prince needed to marry. If not wed before his royal coronation, the kingdom would be passed down to the ruling duke.
So a ball was held, and all of the most beautiful bachelorettes were brought to the palace.
The women were lovely, exotic, and all were crazy about the young prince, but he felt no attraction to them.
So excusing himself, the prince made his way out to the balcony where he spotted a lone figure.
It was a tall man. His hair was much darker than the prince's auborn locks, as dark as a ranven's feather... Probably just as soft as well.
The prince looked at the man's soft, pale skin with his green eyes.
The stranger was just was tall as the prince, he figured out as he walked over to the figure.
"Hello." the prince addressed the man, voice smooth as silk.
"good evening my prince." the stranger looked at the prince with shockingly ice blue eyes.
Unlike the prince's smooth voice, the stranger had a rough and worn voice, yet it still soothed the young prince.
"who are you?" the prince asked him, his voice regal and demanding.
"I'm a carriage coach. I brought my masters daughter to your ball, and now I'm here enjoying the view." the man said simply, a smirk playing on his lips.
"I see. Do you have a name sire?" the prince was curious. Everyone knew his name, but he didn't know the names of singular people in his kingdom.
"Laeo. My name is Laeo Theo my prince." he bowed slightly.
"Laeo..." the name left a good feeling on the prince's lips.
